The first time they laid eyes on each other was in the church parking lot…Tawina thought to herself “who is this handsome newcomer?” Similarly, Dwayne thought “wow, she is very beautiful”. But it was much, much more than their fondness of each other’s looks that ultimately drew them towards dating and eventually getting engaged! You see, I’ve known Tawina personally for years now and have continually been impressed by her faith and her desire to marry, not just any man, but a godly man. As a single woman, I witnessed her seek after becoming the best woman she could be, the kind that this godly man of her dreams would want to marry. And boy did God ever blow her prayers out of the water with Dwayne! I mean, the way he looks at her! They treated each other with such tenderness and sweetness during their engagement session – it made my heart melt!

For their engagement session, we went to Historic Downtown Norcross, to the very spot where Dwayne proposed. (The gazebo photos you’ll see towards the end of this post is where he actually dropped to one knee!) We had a wonderful time walking around this quaint little area, catching up on life, and enjoying the many gorgeous settings to take photos at.

Tawina + Dwayne, I’m incredibly thankful that you have chosen me to capture your engagement and wedding day! Thank you, thank you, and I hope you love all of the photos tremendously!
