The 3 words that come to mind every time I think of Hannah and Jeremy’s wedding are KINDNESS, JOY, and MEANING. Kindness because everyone (the bridal party, family, and even the guests!) were some of the kindest people I’ve every met! My husband and I both were stopped numerous times throughout the day by thoughtful people who just felt like telling us that we were doing a great job and they were so glad we were there – it meant so much to us! Joy because, well, you’ll see! Hannah is one of the MOST joyful brides I’ve every had the pleasure of working with and I just love her to death for it. And don’t even get me started on the dance party! It was out of control and one of the most joyous occasions I’ve witnessed! Lastly, meaning, because it wasn’t just all laughter and fun (although there was a lot of that!)….Hannah and Jeremy’s faith and love for Jesus brought along with it so many special, sacred moments to this incredible day. One of my favorite parts was when they spoke before the ceremony (without Jeremy seeing Hannah!). Jeremy had written a letter to her that she read and then they prayed together – it was very special!
Well, anyway, I know you’re here for the photos, so here you go! And, if you are wondering where this beautiful wedding took place…the ceremony (including getting ready and all of the portraits after the ceremony) was at the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia. The ceremony itself was at the Day Chapel and the bride and groom portraits were in the main garden area. And the cocktail hour and reception were at the John Oliver Michael House. Enjoy the photos!!
P.S. This is a long post, but I promise you can’t miss the third to last photo from the end that has brought tears to my eyes many times now…there’s an explanation of why, too!! 😉
Okay…I just have to explain the photo below and why it brought me to tears the first few times I saw it. The whole day was incredible but the last couple hours of the wedding were exceptionally joyous. Hannah and Jeremy danced their hearts out with all the people they love most in the world. (The dancing photos here are maybe 0.5% of all the ones we took – it was out of control and such a blast!) Then, when it was time to say goodbye, all their guests lined up outside for the bubble exit, while they stayed inside for a private last dance where Jeremy twirled her around just a few more times to one of their favorite songs. Then, they happily bounced out to bubbles and cheering loved ones wishing them well! Jeremy swooped her up and took her to the car. As she sat down in the car and looked back at her wedding day, soaking in the whirlwind of emotions that just went down, this is the face she made. Can’t you just feel what she felt?!?! I can!! It’s the sweetest little “I’m so happy I want to cry” face I’ve every seen!!! But, it didn’t last long, because immediately after she plowed Jeremy with kisses!! Haha, I just love this bride!!
