When Caroline and I were chatting and planning her engagement session she mentioned that she loved the idea of going somewhere where there are Christmas trees and, luckily, I knew just the place as I had been there before for a family photo shoot – Jack’s Creek Tree Farm! This place is HUGE, the people that own it are SO friendly and don’t care at all if you have a photo shoot there, and there are so many different types of trees of all sizes! I just love this shoot and how all of the photos were taken on one property, but we were still able to get lots of variety in their photos. I also love that Caroline brought her little dog, Millie! She was so sweet and would look right at me every time I called her name – and don’t even get me started on her little red bow and how it perfectly tied the look and feel of this whole shoot together! So adorable!
This sweet couple met in the spring of 2017 and Caroline knew very early on that there was something special about Nick. A little under a year later, Nick took her on a weekend trip up to Chattanooga and it was then that he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her! So…fast forward to October of 2018, he decided to take her back to that special place to propose! Caroline was a little suspicious something might happen as he asked her parents and his best friend (who lives in Phoenix!) to join them on the trip. (As well as his parents, but they were not able to come.) During dinner on the evening he was planning on proposing, the couple right next to them got engaged – what are the odds?! Haha! After that proposal, Caroline noted that the guys were acting a little funny, but tried to not think much of it. After dinner, it was her turn though! Nick took her for a little walk by the river and, with their family and friends nearby watching and taking photos, grabbed her hands and asked her to be his wife! She said yes and now they are planning their wedding for the summer of 2019 and I could not be more thrilled to be their photographer! Enjoy the photos!
