Rachel and Trey got married on a picture perfect crisp and sunny day in early November at their home church, Southpoint Fellowship, in Locust Grove, Georgia. There was so much love and warmth between everyone that day! It was obvious that this group is a true church family that loves one another deeply and was beyond thrilled to come together and celebrate as two of their own decided to tie the knot. I’m so thankful that I got to be there to witness the beauty of it all!
There were so many things I loved about this day! One of my favorite parts was the first look and getting to do their bride and groom portraits in the most beautiful sunshine! (Oh how I love my sunshine!) I also particularly enjoyed the meaningful and hilarious toasts, and also the coolest game they played during the reception. Rachel and Trey sat in chairs facing away from each other and held one of their own shoes in one hand and the other’s shoe in their other hand. The MC would ask a question like “who is the best kisser” or something like that and they would have to raise the shoe of who they thought it was. (Either themself or their spouse.) Sometimes they answered the same way, and sometimes they didn’t…but each question was hilarious and they whole crowd, myself included, was belly laughing! This is a wedding tradition I really hope to see more of! And, of course I have to mention their colorful and fun bubble exit! Bubble exits have become a new favorite of mine…this was the third one I had this past fall and the pictures are always so fun!
Rachel and Trey, thank you so much for choosing me to document your wedding day! It was beautiful and I hope you cherish the photos forever!
