Have you ever seen the movie Sweet Home Alabama? Who am I kidding – of course you have!! Everyone has. And if you haven’t, you need to repent and get on that right away! Haha! Anyway…Breland and JF remind me so much of the characters in that movie. Breland, like Reese Witherspoon’s character, is a southern girl who for a brief period of time has some big New York City ambitions. (You can read more about that on their engagement session blog post!) As we all know though, you can take the girl out of the south, but you can’t take the south out of the girl! She eventually flies back down to Georgia where she belongs and right into JF’s waiting arms! Now, as for JF, he is so much like the character Jake – basically the poster child of a southern gentleman. Tall, handsome, deeply rooted in his community, knows everyone, and owns a lot of land and things!
Their wedding this past Saturday was incredibly beautiful and meaningful! The ceremony was at their home church, Salem Baptist Church, and the reception was on JF’s family farm just right down the road. A couple of my favorite moments of the day were when the guests lined up outside of the church after the ceremony for a traditional bird seed toss to send off the couple, and watching Breland break it down all night on the dance floor in her adorable white jumpsuit and super high heels! I just love this bride so much – she is the epitome of contagious joyful laughter and sweet southern charm all wrapped up in a gorgeous barbie doll package!
Breland and JF, thank you again, a million times over for allowing my husband and I to capture your wedding day! We had such a blast! Hope you enjoy this extended sneak preview!
